A lot has happened since I worked at the Environmental Law conference in Montreal, but as soon as I came back, I had a major computer crash that forced me to purchase a new computer and restore the hard drive on the old computer. Overall, I lost over 12 hours of work, which was crucial time to get some translation work done and confirm events the following week. I even lost information on Tuesday about my flight to Winnipeg on Thursday, and since my computer was in the shop, I wasn’t able to retrieve the information until Thursday morning! The good part is that I was able to back up all my translations, e-mails, and other work documents in order to continue operations throughout the computer crash… Ah, the trials and tribulations of owning a company!!!
