Crozier Cares Yard Sale for the Cure

This past Saturday, Pendleton Translations was happy to support Crozier Cares Yard Sale for the Cure in Milton. It was a beautiful day and they had many visitors – from friends and family to local residents – who dropped by to check out some of the awesome deals, participate in a silent auction and have some fun at the BBQ.

After a successful year in 2013, raising $3500 for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation, the “Crozier Crew,” a group of neighbours in Milton, decided to once again host Yard Sale for the Cure. It was a great time had by all, and included everyone from young to old. The yard sale consisted of everything, from household items, like laundry dryers and coffee makers, to gently used children and babies toys and clothes. There was even a BBQ, silent auction and prize draw with prizes donated from local businesses.

By the end of the day, Crozier Cares Yard Sale for the Cure beat their previous years total, by raising over $4000! The group on Crozier Crescent hopes to make this a yearly event with all the success they’ve had and believe this is a great way to help the community around them. They also believe it is a great way to teach their children how get involved with important causes.

All proceeds raised benefitted the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation who puts donations towards innovative research, education and advocacy programs for families and women who have been affected by breast cancer.

Pendleton Translations wants to congratulate the Crozier Crew on their success and wishes them all the best with any future fundraising endeavours!
