I am working on a translation project that is quite intense. It is an annual report for an organization in Niagara Falls. It deals a lot with the tourism industry, which has really been hurting in that region in the last few years due to the border slowdowns, the parity with the US dollar, the lack of new attractions, flying restrictions after September 11th and other terrorist attacks, amongst other issues. It is a real uphill battle to promote tourism in Niagara Falls, which is a shame, as the Canadian side of the falls has so much to see, including the beautiful parks, the best view of the falls, wine country, and so much more!
